The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, one of India's premier institutions for higher education and research, has released Advertisement No. R(HR)/Recruitment-2/2026 dated 29 May 2026 for the recruitment of Administrative Assistants through direct recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess:

A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying degree.
Maximum age of 26 years as on the closing date of application.

Selection Process

Selection will be based entirely on a Job-Oriented Aptitude Test, carrying 100% weightage. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on 05 July 2026.

Application Fee

Degree certificates and mark sheets.
Relevant certificates for reserved categories (if applicable).

Reservation and age relaxation benefits will be provided according to Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
