NIT Delhi Project Recruitment 2026: Apply for 18 Project Posts, Salary Up to ₹55,000 Per Month Last Date for Apply : 19/06/2026

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi has released Advertisement No. NITD/CED/TPQA/REC/26/05/01 dated 29 May 2026 inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for various project positions under consultancy/research projects being carried out in the Department of Civil Engineering under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Ajay Kumar.

Interested candidates can apply for a total of 18 vacancies including Project Associate, Project Fellow, Project Consultant and Junior Project Technical Assistant posts.

Educational Qualification

Project Associate (Civil)

B.Tech (Civil) OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience.

Project Associate (Electrical)

B.Tech (Electrical) OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience.

Project Associate (Horticulture)

B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture with 2 years of experience.

Project Fellow (Civil)

B.Tech (Civil) with 5 years of experience OR M.Tech (Civil) with 3 years of experience.

Project Fellow (Electrical)

B.Tech (Electrical) with 4 years of experience.

Junior Project Technical Assistant

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience.

Project Consultant (Civil)

M.Tech (Civil) with 4 years of experience OR B.Tech (Civil) with 6 years of experience.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration as follows:

Project Associate / Junior Project Technical Assistant: ₹32,800 per month
Project Fellow: ₹48,300 per month
Project Consultant: ₹55,000 per month
